Sorrel Nation
Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation expertly weaves a rooted Americana sound, blending folk-rock, country influences and deeply emotive song writing.
Sorrel has built a growing reputation for her distinctive voice, powerful live performances and evocative storytelling. Her music combines warmth, honesty and rich musicality, with lyrics that explore travel, solitude, connection to nature and resilience.
Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut studio album, Lost En Route, Sorrel has toured extensively across the UK performing at festivals including Black Deer, Wickham, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Festival alongside multiple national headline tours. Her performances range from delicate acoustic intimacy to soaring full-band arrangements as showcased on her ‘rootsy’ second studio album, Creeping Thyme, released October 23rd 2026.
And yes, Sorrel Nation is her real name…
“there are few singer-songwriters currently gracing the UK music scene creating as much of a buzz” -Graeme Tait, Americana UK
"there was a gorgeous, vibrant depth to the overall sound" - Nick Barber, Americana-UK
"stylish band panache adding folk rock aura to sultry layered songs" - David Hughes, Three Chords and the Truth
The Tea Cosy Sessions, now in their sixth year, were started after the Pandemic as a way to bring cheer to those dull post New Year weekend afternoons. What could be better we thought, than brilliant entertainment accompanied by tea and home-made cake! They have proved very popular so get your tickets early if you can. Doors are at2.30pm and the show finishes around 5pm so plenty of time to get home in time for Antiques Road Show!
