It's very safe and very simple, register your details once and then you can book for all our concerts in the one place. No envelopes, stamps, emails and trips to the postbox required. It's the greenest method as you don't even need to print anything out, just give us your name on the door and we can find your booking reference. Almost zero carbon footprint. They charge 10% for the convenience but by the time you've added up envelopes, stamps and petrol and my and your time, there's not much in it.
Alternatively - If you are averse to booking online - there's still the old fashioned method.
Send an email with the number and type of tickets you require. Ticket prices are on the individual gig pages, as are door and start times.
Include your full name and phone number, then follow up with a cheque
for the total amount made payable to Folk in the Barn and post to
Folk in the Barn .........?.......... concert
I will give you the address to post to in the confirmation email.
We no longer send out physical tickets. If tickets are purchased your name will be on the list at the door on the night of the gig to be checked off.
Or come and find us at the merch desk at any of our other gigs and buy direct - it saves you a bit to do so. and more of the income goes to the promoter and artist.
We can handle a proportion of the bookings this way, but it really helps us out a lot if you book online
If you pay on the door on the night of the concert there is a slight extra charge, so it pays to book in advance and helps us to know how many people are coming.

Cancellation Policy
If you find you can no longer attend a concert the best solution is for you to pass them on to a friend or family member if you can. If you want to sell them or let them go for free or for a reduced amount please feel free to use our Facebook pages - Folk in the Barn or Folk in the Barners group to do so.
If a concert isn't sold out I'm afraid we are unable to offer a refund if you find yourself unable to attend for any reason. However I hate for anyone to be out of pocket and if a refund is desperately necessary please email me with the circumstances. If the costs are covered and the event viable then at our discretion and in certain circumstances we may be able to help out, even if it's by transferring the booking to another upcoming concert.
Wegottickets now offer a refund protection. For a small extra fee you can be insured against certain circumstances that may mean you are unable to attend. Illness, accident, vehicle breakdown, unexpected transport disruption, jury service, adverse(red) weather warning etc are all covered. If proof of these eventualities is obtainable they will refund you your money. Read the full terms and conditions here
Wegottickets now have a waiting list system. If a concert is sold out with a waiting list and you can no longer attend, contact Wegottickets and they will offer the tickets to the waiting list and if successful, refund your money. We can only offer this up to the day before the event. On the day of the concert the ticket list is closed and printed off and it's often too late for anyone to change their plans, or for me to have time and space to administrate this. If you're coming to the concert and have spare tickets and we happen to sell them on the door, let us know and we'll reimburse you if we can. We'll always do our best to make sure everyone is happy and not out of pocket if we can.
In the unlikely event that the concert has to be postponed, tickets will either stand for an alternative date, or in the event of complete cancellation then we will refund your money. Any announcements will be made via the Folk in the Barn emailing list and social media, so if you’re not a member of the mailing list please join via this website or follow us on Facebook.
